Hi from rural Madison, over in Monroe Co! I stumbled on your blog from a friend of a friend of a relative (or something like that) ;-) Anyway, I was reading about your turkey in an older post, and where you bought chicks, chinese goslings, etc, every year from Orscheln & give to friends etc. when they grow up. Specically I am looking for a brown chinese gander, and a comment on a blog might be a weird way to approach this.. but I've been looking a very long time and I'm desperate to find a boy for my sweet goose :) If you can give me any leads as to where in the area I could find such a critter, I would be forever grateful (just leave a comment on my blog). I am the mother of Chase, 3-14-95; who is a junior this year and Chelsey, 11-11-97; who is an 8th grader this year. I work as an Auto Adjuster for an insurance company.
This is the view from the Washington Monument. Chase just sent this to me. They will be heading home tonight on the all night bus ride.
